Location

Our bed and breakfast is in the hamlet of Dinan about 4 km west of Crozon, Brittany (not the town of Dinan, a few hours drive to the east). It is 600 metres, as the crow flies, and a little less than a kilometre’s walk to the beach (la plage de Goulien) and the footpath that follows the entire coastline of the Presqu’ile de Crozon.

The peninsular, the middle of the three western Brittany “fingers”, is in the department of Finistère, and forms part of the Parc Régional d’Armorique. Renowned for its spectacular coastline, ranging from rugged cliffs to wide open sandy beaches, it has a rich and diverse coastal flora and fauna, and is especially rich in European orchid species. It offers excellent surfing and windsurfing beaches and crystal clear water makes it a great spot for diving and snorkeling.

The nearby towns of Crozon and Morgat offer a daily market, good shopping facilities, restaurants, and a nautical centre where canoes, sailing boats etc. can be hired.
